Iloilo Outreach 2019

for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them?” Romans 10:13-14
HalleluJah! — this is the very word that comes from my mouth every time I remember what the Lord has done throughout the Iloilo Mission 2019.
I’ve really wanted to share my testimony on what happened there.. though I know this will be limited because i can’t even describe in exact words all of it yet in the strength and wisdom of the Lord, let me share it in pen and paper.
View from the plane window

Being a christian, we have the mandate from the Lord to always go and preach the gospel. Somewhere, somehow, I always ask myself, I really want to do it, to go to the places where the gospel is not yet preached to. To those people, that didn’t hear yet about the Lord Jesus Christ. But as I also look around me, I know that I’m also in the mission field. Where the Lord has planted me right now, is also my mission field.

So I continue what I’m doing, starting where i am and what i have. Nonetheless, the Lord moves in many mysterious ways and as i continue to pray during my personal prayers and even in prayer meetings and prayer marathon, the Lord also put in my heart, my relatives in Bacolod. And as i do this mission, I also had in my heart, “Lord, our province in Manapla Bacolod is next in line.” ♥ Thank You LORD, for this experience..

Continuing in this mission,

We board the AirAsia Plane at 9:45pm

As I enter that plane, i said, “LORD, this is it. We’ll be no longer in the Manila/Muntinlupa soil” hehe.. I sit on my assigned seat and intercede for the whole travel time. It was just 45 minutes, though that time, it’s quite rainy, I believe the Lord is with us and there will be no turbulence while in the air. And Praise GOD! before the take off  commenced, the pilot told us that there will be quite turbulence due to the weather, and yet while up there, he told us again, “the sky is now clear and fair”. What a God! HALLELUJAH!

We came at the Iloilo Airport around 11pm, and Praise the LORD for the lives of Ate mimay and her company, Ate Fany and Steph for welcoming us in the city of Love. ♥ I really thank the Lord for the favor since during that time, there are no longer van/cab that we can take leaving airport. So having them, really given us comfort and encouragement. 🙂

The next morning, we arrived at Bus Terminal to take the Bus going to Passi City. it’s just amazing how the LORD also show us favor here. The very moment, we arrived, the Bus is ready to leave going to Passi City. No time wasted here really, as I thought hehe.

We arrived at Brgy. Libo-o, Sitio Punong Duldol and was greeted by the family of Abbey. Just to see all these happy faces, I praise GOD in the heavenly places.. ♥ We had our Devotion and praise and worship and we really thank the LORD for the supernatural strength.

We then go ahead to Libo-o Elementary School to take sizes for the slippers to be given to the students for them to use as they go to school. We also thank the LORD for the favor with the OIC of the school, Ms. Flor and to all the teachers. They have given us warm welcome and allowed us to go to classrooms to talk with the students regarding the sizes of their feet. I was glad to see the excitement in the eyes of these little ones. They are truly excited on what the LORD will do in their lives.

We then go ahead to the buy the slippers, loot bags, groceries and hygiene kits..

While also in the market, We have shared the gospel using the Wordless book. and as for my experience, I was surprised on her question to me, “May bayad po ba yan? (Is there a fee for that?”

And I said, “Wala po ate.. nandito lang po talaga kami para ishare po sa inyo ang ginawa ni LORD JESUS CHRIST sa cross and ishare po ang Word of God sa inyo” (No, we’re just here to really share what the LORD JESUS CHRIST has done on the cross and share the Word of GOD to you”)

To her amazement, she said, “Ay ganun ba.. salamat ha sa pagpunta dito samin. Kahit dito lang sa kami nagtitinda” (Really? Thank you for coming here even if we’re just here selling”) And Praise GOD that as she accepts the LORD JESUS CHRIST that day, I believe that there’s the seed of the Word of God planted in her life.

We got home and prepared the slippers, lootbags and groceries..

Thank You LORD for the strength! HalleluJah!

In the evening, Ptra. Ruth shared the Power of the Name of Christ and Praising GOD for the lives who accepted the LORD JESUS CHRIST as their personal Lord and Savior.

The next morning, I woke up early and intercede for the whole day that the LORD will do to all the students of Libo-o Elementary School, to our surprised. It’s raining heavily.. Around 5am to i think 7-8am in the morning. There’s thought in me that there could be a class suspension, but I rebuked it in JESUS Name, and I started praising and worshipping the LORD because the program at that school will continue.

To my amazement, Whoa LORD! It became sunny again starting 9am as I remember it. And we then started preparing to go. We really thank the LORD for the favor in the lives of Abbey’s father, brothers and aunt/uncle for accompanying and helping us.

When we arrived there, my heart was glad in seeing the students waiting for us and having excitement on the LORD’s doing in their lives that day… we also prepared the hygiene kit..

“One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone.”
― Shannon L. Alder

“The opportunities for using our financial resources to spread the gospel and strengthen the church all over the world are greater than they’ve ever been. As God raised up Esther for just such a time as hers, I’m convinced he’s going to raise us up, with all our wealth, to help fulfill the great commission. The question is, what are we doing with that money? Our job is to make sure it gets to his intended recipients.”
― Randy Alcorn

Just to see them receiving the slippers, their loot bags, groceries and hygiene kits. I saw that it’s not just what they have received but the thought that someone care for them. You see, We are hands, feet, eyes, mouth — the body of JESUS here on earth. And we can show them through our lives that it is JESUS is in us who cares and loved them most. GLORY TO HIS NAME ALONE!

After at Libo-o Elementary School, we go to the neighboring houses in Sitio Duldol and shared the Gospel using the Wordless book…

Let me just share my testimony regarding Nanay Pacita, We shared to her the gospel and she knows only little tagalog. I thank the LORD for giving us favor still, by using the life of Abbey’s father, Tatay Johnny for translating some words for us so that Nanay Pacita can understand what I share to her. After, I have told her the Wordless book, we prayed the prayer of Salvation and I really pray for the sealing of her life in JESUS NAME.

Meanwhile, before we pray, she told us in visayan language about her condition. As it was translated by Tatay Johnny, Nanay Pacita was asking for prayer of healing due to everytime she is tired, or it’s hot and she is alone, she will unexpectedly black out (nahihimatay bigla bigla). So we pray for the total healing of Nanay Pacita. PRAISE GOD! because she is healed! and It’s really seen in her face the joy that she has received from the LORD. ♥

We  leave Sitio Punong duldol, accompanied by Abbey’s Family and it’s sad since we’ll be leaving the place..and yet it’s full of joy, because of what the LORD has done during those time we’re there. The Presence of God is there. The Kingdom of God established and their lives has received the Kingship and Lordship of our Lord JESUS CHRIST.

Truly, the salvation of a soul is the greatest miracle…

I’m just also touched by how gracious the LORD is to us. And in the lives of the people there. Thank You so much Lord for the favor and seeing their transformed lives, i have joy in me as well.

LRM_EXPORT_203042465628968_20190903_200647031After all, why did i share this Mission Blog? To make what we did known? Absolutely not! but this is what i want to say,

Philippians 3:8

Yea doubtless,
and I count all things
but loss for the excellency
of the knowledge of Christ
Jesus my Lord: for whom
I have suffered the loss
of all things, and do count
them but dung,
that I may win Christ.”

i want to make CHRIST known. Through my life. What HE is doing in our lives. Sharing it to people that you see, there is more and more to LIFE in JESUS. You can find your purpose in the LORD. the LORD JESUS CHRIST came for us to have life, and to have it more abundantly.

To my co-workers in Christ, just like the lyrics of this song. let’s stand up, we have some work to do. ♥

To all our partners in the ministry, destiny helpers, kingdom partners who have supported through prayers, help, encouragement and through financial. I keep on remembering your lives in the LORD that He is the one who sees your heart in giving to the LORD and He’ll be your Exceeding Great Reward.

Blessings upon blessings on your life. To more missions to propagate the gospel, till our LORD JESUS CHRIST comes,

“Only One life” by CT Studd

Two little lines I heard one day,
Traveling along life’s busy way;
Bringing conviction to my heart,
And from my mind would not depart;
Only one life, twill soon be past,

Only what’s done for Christ will last.
Only one life, yes only one,
Soon will its fleeting hours be done;
Then, in ‘that day’ my Lord to meet,
And stand before His Judgement seat;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, the still small voice,
Gently pleads for a better choice
Bidding me selfish aims to leave,
And to God’s holy will to cleave;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, a few brief years,
Each with its burdens, hopes, and fears;
Each with its clays I must fulfill,
living for self or in His will;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

When this bright world would tempt me sore,
When satan would a victory score;
When self would seek to have its way,
Then help me Lord with joy to say;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Give me Father, a purpose deep,
In joy or sorrow Thy word to keep;
Faithful and true what e’er the strife,
Pleasing Thee in my daily life;
Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Oh let my love with fervor burn,
And from the world now let me turn;
Living for Thee, and Thee alone,
Bringing Thee pleasure on Thy throne;
Only one life, “twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.

Only one life, yes only one,
Now let me say,”Thy will be done”;
And when at last I’ll hear the call,
I know I’ll say “twas worth it all”;
Only one life,’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last. ”

— extra stanza —

Only one life, ’twill soon be past,
Only what’s done for Christ will last.
And when I am dying, how happy I’ll be,
If the lamp of my life has been burned out for Thee

in every victory, let it be said of me, “My SOURCE of STRENGTH, my SOURCE of HOPE, is CHRIST ALONE”
